SERAB (SARAB), is a small town in the Azerbaijan Providence located in northwestern Iran. Serab is surrounded by low mountains and is located in the path of many tribal peoples such as the Shahsavan. Pertaining to physical characteristics of Serab(Sarab) rugs and carpets, they usually have geometric patterns with simple backgrounds.
